COMPOSER
Beni studied composition with composer, Giles Swayne, until he went to the Royal Academy of Music to do a Master's course in composition under Dr Philip Cashian and Sir Peter Maxwell Davies.

Beni has been co-Composer-in-residence at Espacio Cultural El Tanque de Santa Cruz in Tenerife, a Britten-Pears Young Artist and a visiting tutor at the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, as well as receiving several commissions and performances of his work and being shortlisted for the Britten Sinfonia OPUS 2015 award.

More recently, Beni has received a commission from Listen Pony, written the score to Teodora Berglund's short film, Utopic Dystopia, and is writing the score for Joe Dixon's latest film, On Dry Land, written by Thomas Ironmonger.

He is currently writing a piece for drum machine and orchestra (to be performed by Southbank Sinfonia, and working on a large-scale studio-based project called SONDER.

Beni is a Nonclassical associate composer.

PRODUCER
Beni has worked in some of London’s foremost studios, producing acts signed to both indie and major labels such as JamesMarcus Foster, LIFE and Alan Pownall. His remix work is extensive and includes Lissie and Kill it Kid.

He is currently producing the debut album for London based three-piece, Otzeki, as well as developing other artists.

In recent months he has worked extensively with Nonclassical, reworking and remixing the works of Mozart, Webern and Martinu amongst others. These works have received performances in Brussels and London.

Beni releases his own music under the pseudonym Adhelm, available here. His remix of Gabriel Prokofiev's 'Float Dance' was released on Nonclassical in November 2014 - available here.

He is a member of the Loose Cannon Music collective.
